My Favorite Garden

I know one is not supposed to speak in superlatives, but in this case I feel confident in my statement. The gardens of Eyrignac are my favorite. For me it is all about the elegance of line, vista and scale. I have seen it at different times of year and this recent March trip was as perfect as ever.

Always a little moment of joy to dip into your blog and see Tom's paintings and cartoons and your wonderful prose capturing life in the French countryside. We miss you guys - Spring is finally here - it snowed - of course.

It is fun to share. Would be hard to be here without the windows into the Vermont world too!

Thank you so much for sharing that beautiful garden. It is indeed the kind of garden that needs no summer color to make it magical. Something to work towards in my own.
